Medical Resources Home Health is a successful and growing certified agency providing quality home rehabilitation services in 9 offices statewide. Due to growth, we need a second Clinical Supervisor for our Newton office. You will be responsible for working closely with your clinical staff to ensure efficient and effective implementation of patient services. You will also be responsible for the collection of timely and accurate clinical documentation. Come join a team of successful health care professionals. You will be making a commitment to:
Implements, maintains and monitors compliance with all company policies and guidelines.
Consistently strives to improve staff and branch performance.
Oversees, directs, trains and supports the clinical staff.
Takes and tracks appropriate referrals for the branch.
Ensures appropriate training and updated clinical documentation certifications of clinical staff.
Maintains compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements dealing with clinical issues.
Participates and organizes the interview, hiring and orientation process.
Prepares on call schedule and participates in on call rotation.
Make patient visits when necessary.
Reviews and assigns all new admissions and post/hospital order visits.
Works in collaboration with the Liaisons for smooth transitions from facility to home care.
Monitors all time sheets for accuracy and compliance.
Collects, analyzes, summarizes and discusses performance evaluations with Regional Director.
Reports to Regional Director any significant patient, family or physician complaints.
Coordinates and manages team meetings (one per month) and supervisory visits (2 per year).
Make suggestions for improving processes and implement company decisions positively.
Oversees and may provide in services for all staff.
Network and consult with professional resources in the community to expand and improve patient services for optimal patient care.
Engage in other related activities (workshops, seminars) and special projects as required.
Works in collaboration with Quality Assurance/Improvement.
- A minimum of six years of nursing within the last ten years
- Supervisory experience (2+ years)
- Homecare experience (2+ years)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Associates Degree and current licensure or permit by the applicable state board of nursing
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution and communication skills
- Experience in customer and employee conflict resolution techniques
- Flexible and able to respond to changing situations in a positive manner
